Môdum is a leading luxury brand seeking an experienced Director of Operations to drive operational efficiency and excellence across all functions.


This is a unique opportunity for a proactive leader with a strong operational and technological background to play a pivotal role in the company's continued expansion.


Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

  • Drive operational strategy and ensure alignment with the company's overarching business goals.


  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes across all departments.


  • Support new store openings, ensuring processes and standards are upheld.



Logistics Oversight

  • Manage international logistics, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective operations.


  • Develop best practices for logistics across all markets.



Inventory Control

  • Implement effective inventory management strategies aimed at achieving zero stock loss.



Technology Management

  • Develop a 5-year IT Roadmap aligned with the Business Plan.


  • Oversee ERP system management to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and seamless integration with new technologies.


  • Lead the introduction of a new clienteling system, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure cyber security and disaster recovery readiness.



Facilities Management

  • Oversee all facility operations, including maintenance, safety, and compliance.



Security

  • Manage the security team across multiple sites and lead initiatives to raise security awareness through training.



Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks.



Process Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.



Performance Management

  • Establish performance metrics and monitor operations to ensure targets are met, implementing solutions where needed.



Team Development

  • Mentor and develop operational staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.



Budget Management

  • Oversee budget development and management, driving cost-saving initiatives across operations.



Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, retail, HR, and other departments to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.



Qualifications & Experience
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).


  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


  • Experience in manufacturing and knowledge of luxury, retail, or jewellery sectors (preferred).


  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals.


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.


  • Experience with market expansion initiatives, especially in the US and Middle East.


  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or a similar ERP system.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Experience in Luxury Jewellery or high luxury environments
