Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

Westcountry Spice Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and organized Maintenance Engineer to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and preventing maintenance issues within our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on machinery
  • Minimize downtime and fault-find on a range of packaging machinery
  • Deal with root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and general daily operational efficiencies
  • Organize and plan project work as and when required, along with the implementation of machinery flow in our new purpose-built factory
  • Assist with documentation to enable full training structures
  • Liaise with production and management along with key suppliers and outside contractors

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Flexible with shifts and overtime to support production
  • Engineering qualifications
  • Health & Safety Knowledge
  • Ideal experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environments
  • PLC/automation experience is preferred with strong mechanical knowledge
