Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

Location: Crediton

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our educational setting in Crediton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Encourage and promote independence and confidence among students.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, either in an educational or care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of young people.
