Job Title: Consultant Histopathologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our team at Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients, working closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert diagnostic services in histopathology, including examination of tissue and fluid samples.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental performance.
Requirements:
  • Be a GMC registered Doctor with relevant experience at Consultant level.
  • Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK.
  • Pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
