About the Role
We are recruiting a highly skilled Teacher to teach Home Economics and Social Sciences at Charleston Academy, Inverness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and be able to deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lectures and Discussions: Conduct lectures and discussions on Home Economics topics, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with national standards, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and strategies.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications: Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Home Economics.
- Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching Secondary school settings, with a focus on Home Economics.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and teaching skills, enabling effective lesson delivery.
- Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, facilitating collaboration with colleagues.
