HGV Technician

Join our dynamic team at Ford & Slater Limited, a leading DAF Truck dealership with 16 locations across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity for HGV Technicians to work various shifts at our Leeds dealership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintaining a wide range of trucks and vehicles
  • Carrying out safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs
  • Diagnostic repair work, ensuring maintenance is carried out to manufacturers procedures
  • Participating in breakdowns and following company processes for completing paperwork
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a Technician/Mechanic within the HGV sector or associated fields
  • Qualified to Level 3 (C&G, NVQ or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
