Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Biomedical Research Specialist to join our team at PerkinElmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and preparing specialized cell lines, as well as coordinating consumable supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and prepare specialized cell lines for assay work.
  • Coordinate consumable supplies to ensure smooth cell delivery.
  • Use fluorescent microscopy for imaging and cell counting.
  • Assist with SOPs, Risk Assessments, and best practice guides.
Requirements
  • BSc in a relevant scientific subject (e.g. biology, biotechnology or Biomedical Sciences).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cell culture, cell lines, primary cells, and aseptic technique.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment with media preparation, cell isolation techniques, and molecular biology methods.
