About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant to provide exceptional service to our customers at Oaklands Village care home in Derbyshire.

This role will involve assisting in a busy kitchen and/or restaurant, applying knowledge or awareness of food hygiene and safety practices, and working collaboratively with the team to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve service standards
  • Develop knowledge of menu items and ingredients

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
