Electrical Design Engineer Apprentice

HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is a leading international civil engineering company specialising in complex markets including Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering.

We are seeking a High Voltage Engineer to manage a large subcontractor responsible for the cabling in a major tunnelling project within Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a large subcontractor responsible for the cabling in the tunnel.
  • Act as project manager for the cable installations and substation works.
  • Be a qualified Electrical Engineer with project management experience.
  • Have worked on large scale High Voltage projects.
  • Have some experience interfacing or working with National Grid assets (highly desirable).
