Kitchen Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Village Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests.

• Food Strategy: Develop and implement a food strategy that drives commercial returns and enhances the overall guest experience.
• Kitchen Operations: Ensure that all aspects of kitchen activity are coordinated to create a professional, safe, hygienic, and cost-effective environment.
• Team Management: Establish and maintain clear lines of communication within the kitchen operations and with Front of House staff.
• Quality Control: Ensure that food items are delivered, handled, cooked, and served to company specification to drive quality and value.
• Performance Management: Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to benchmark individual team members' performance in terms of sales.
• Staffing and Budgeting: Review wage costs and ensure staffing levels are at the appropriate levels to drive conversion and align with budget.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to food hygiene regulations and health and safety procedures according to FRESH, HACCP, and EHO directives.
