We are seeking a skilled HVAP Shift Technician to join our team at Empro Consultants in London.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing planned and reactive maintenance tasks within the Data Centre division. You will work closely with the Engineering Supervisor and Shift Leader to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a high standard of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on building systems and respond to alarms.
  • Manage the Permit to Work system and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supervise subcontractors and foster positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Support incident management and uphold professional standards in customer service.

Requirements:

  • HV Authorisation and Level 3 NVQ in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working within a critical environment.
  • Current Wiring Regulations certificate and Emergency First Aid Qualification.
  • Proven experience in facilities management and maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible working hours and preferred certifications (PASMA & IPAF).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £48,000 per annum (rising to £50k once secured onsite HVAP).
  • 12 hour shift pattern.
