Job Title: PCB Inspector

Job Location: Wokingham

Job Type: 3-6 month contract

Rate: £15-16 per hour PAYE - £19-21 per hour LTD/umbrella - EXEMPT FROM IR35

We are seeking an experienced PCB Inspector to join our client for a 3-6 month contract.

  • Visual Inspection: Inspect PCBs to ensure they meet quality standards, checking solder joints, components, and workmanship.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure products adhere to the IPC-A-610 standard, defining acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, drawings, and other relevant documentation to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Receiving Inspection: Inspect materials for quality upon arrival, including dimensional checks, surface finish assessment, and assembly quality verification.
  • Final Inspection: Perform a final inspection before products are shipped to ensure they meet all quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous certification to J and IPC standard
  • History of PCB assembly
  • History of PCB inspection
  • Knowledge of common electronic assembly standards
  • Good component knowledge
  • Knowledge of AOI
