About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at our Luton practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of a nurturing culture within the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our team to achieve excellent standards of care.
  • Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings to discuss patient care and matters related to the practice.
  • Undertake continuing professional development (CPD) and certificates to enhance your veterinary career goals.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary up to £60k (pro rata and dependent on experience).
  • Annual leave of 28 days including bank holidays increasing after 2 years' service.

About Our Practice

Our Luton practice is RCVS accredited and cat-friendly, with separate cat and dog wards. We have a range of modern equipment, including a new Ultrasound, video endoscope, digital x-ray, full IDEXX in-house laboratory, K-Laser blood pressure machine, and multiparameter monitor.

Work-Life Balance

We believe in creating a real work-life balance for all our colleagues. The role can be considered full or part-time, and we are happy to discuss options. A typical full-time role would involve 20-minute consults with a 4-day week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish day. The weekend rota is Saturday 9am to 4pm with a 1:3 rota.
