About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in the educational and social development of babies and young children up to the age of five. Your primary responsibilities will include creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth, developing and implementing engaging educational activities, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met.

• Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in children.

• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in early years education.

Requirements

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years care and Education.

• Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and education.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in early years education.
