Neuromodulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuromodulation Specialist to join our dedicated team of professionals at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As an ECT Practitioner Leader, you will play a vital role in providing the highest standards of care and support to individuals with Acute Mental Health needs.

This position is based at the ECT suite, an off-site unit attached to the Department of Psychiatry and linked to East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust via a corridor and established SLA (service level agreement) for support. We are currently building a new hospital in Bexhill to replace our inpatient services at the Department of Psychiatry.

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for undertaking ongoing monitoring, assessment, documentation, and care of patients receiving ECT treatment at the clinic and related units at the Department of Psychiatry. You will provide clinical and managerial leadership at the ECT clinic, supervising junior staff and trainees and regularly taking charge of the clinical environment over a span of duty.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with adults with complex mental health difficulties and will possess experience and training in managing unconscious patients and working closely with care staff and multi-disciplinary teams, anaesthetists, and allied professionals. A salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum is offered for this role, depending on experience.
