Foreman Supervisor Job Opportunity

About Us: HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter with expertise in the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors.

We have several job openings across the UK and overseas, and we are currently seeking a Foreman Supervisor to join our team in Falmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the workshop, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for marine vessels and equipment, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Supervise a team of marine technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide expert advice to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ in marine engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety policies.
  • Ability to travel to Falmouth regularly.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 + dependant on experience.
