Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support our Practice Pharmacist in delivering safe, effective, and efficient systems for repeat prescribing and medicines optimisation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for medicines management, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Practice Pharmacist in the delivery of repeat prescribing and medicines optimisation services.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of new working processes to improve the quality of prescribing.
  3. Provide advice and guidance to GPs, staff, and patients on changes to prescribing to support the improvement of prescribing safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Assist in the submission of claims for personally administered drugs as required.
  5. Support the Practice-Based Pharmacist in providing medication reviews, patient information leaflets, and medicine awareness.
Requirements
  • Experienced Pharmacy Technician with a passion for medicines management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
  • Ability to travel between sites as required.
