Role Overview

Cambian Group Plc is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team in Bridgwater. As a key member of our residential care staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to young people aged 8-18 with various social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents, providing individualized care and support, and contributing to a collaborative team dynamic.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their unique needs and interests
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging activities, promote social skills, and encourage independence
  • Monitor and report any concerns or incidents, maintaining accurate records and adhering to safeguarding protocols
