The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatric care to patients across the region, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of wound-care experience and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Podiatrist to join our Community Podiatry Services in Northumberland. The successful candidate will have significant accumulated postgraduate experience, with a strong focus on wound-care and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing clinical leadership for the team through effective implementation of organisational policies and procedures.
  • SUPPORTING THE TEAM AND DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY, EVIDENCE-BASED PODIATRIC CARE.
  • Participating in CPD through peer review, clinical supervision, appraisal, and other means.

The salary for this role is estimated at £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Requirements:
  • BSc/BSc (Hons) or Professional Diploma in Podiatric Medicine
  • HPC registration
  • Local anaesthetic certificate
  • Significant accumulated postgraduate experience
  • Wound-care experience and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
