Job Title: Support Worker

This is a rewarding opportunity to work as a Support Worker in the Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire area. The role involves supporting a gentleman in his 50s who lives at home with his wife and two children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the client with medication administration, moving and handling, and catheter care.
  • Assist the client with personal care, meal preparations, and social outings.
  • Provide support with the upkeep of the client's hydro pool and assist with appointments.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family and other support workers to ensure a person-centred approach.
Requirements:
  • Previous care experience, preferably with complex care.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure.
  • Full UK driving licence, aged 30 years and over.
  • Ability to work with dogs in the client's home.
  • Effective organisation and record-keeping skills.
  • Commitment to long-term care for one client.
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards.
