Key Responsibilities
  • Assistance with Daily Life Tasks: Provide support with personal care, medication, and mealtimes, ensuring the individual's physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Escort and Support: Safely escort and support individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Person-Centred Approach: Implement our Person-Centred approach, encouraging individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations, and promoting maximum independence.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in working with individuals and their families, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Personal Care Experience: Ideally, have experience in personal care, although this is not essential.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Flexibility to Work Rostered Hours: Be willing to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota, as required.
