Salary:$30,000 - $40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on Marlborough Ward. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and deliver high standards of nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient needs
  • Report and document all relevant nursing/patient needs, communicating changes with other healthcare professionals as required
  • Engage and interact with carers and family members, encouraging them to be actively involved in patient care planning
  • Promote and deliver health education within the clinical area, advising patients, families, and significant others on health promotion issues
  • Demonstrate and undertake evidence-based practice, playing an active part in introducing new evidence to improve patient-centered care
  • Assist other clinical areas within the trust as needed, due to clinical situations or staffing levels
  • Supervise and direct Health Care Assistants with their daily workload
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and outside agencies as required, within the confines of the Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality
  • Implement and share good infection control practice
  • Undertake manual handling assessments and ensure identified actions are met

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse training completed or within 1 year of qualifying
  • NMC Registered Nurse or in final year of course
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Attention to detail
