Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is a key member of our team at Cameo s.p.a., responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food production lines. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team of employees to achieve high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in various areas of the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures.
  • Manage employee performance, monitor materials, and coordinate equipment issues with the maintenance department.
  • Oversee the training of new employees and ensure quality assurance through regular audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping related to staff, health and safety, and quality control.
  • Monitor quality and efficiency standards, rectifying issues where possible and notifying management of any concerns.
  • Lead the team by example, ensuring all team members follow correct PPE and food safety standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience in a unionized and/or food manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar systems is also beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of KPIs, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Quality, HACCP, Waste Rate, and Run Rates is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, change management, organization, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, typically 2 weeks days and 2 weeks afternoons.
