About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including arts, crafts, music, and exercise programs.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities that promote the care home's values and mission.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify and address the needs of residents, providing support and guidance as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote the physical and mental well-being of residents.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in a care or residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the care home.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic IT skills, with the ability to use software applications and systems to support the delivery of activities and services.
