About the Role

We seek an experienced Employee Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team at The Recruitment Lab consultancy. As a Group Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting market reviews, liaising with clients, and analysing market feedback to produce recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive market reviews for Group Risk and Healthcare policies to provide clients with optimal solutions.
  2. Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and request quotes from reputable providers.
  3. Analyse market feedback and produce actionable recommendations to enhance client benefits.
  4. Manage scheme renewals and process annual accounts accurately and efficiently.
  5. Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
  6. Communicate effectively with providers, clients, and advisers via phone and letter.
  7. Issue and track invoices for benefits such as PMI, GLA, and GIP in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Possess GR1 (Group Risk qualification) or equivalent CII qualifications.
  • Demonstrate strong experience with market reviews and report production for Group Risk and Healthcare products.
  • Display a good understanding of scheme renewals and associated account processes.
  • Proven ability to handle telephone queries from clients and providers.
  • Knowledge of other voluntary benefits, including Dental, Health Assessments, and EAP.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 per year, along with half-yearly discretionary bonuses, paid study support for professional development, 20 days holiday (increasing with service up to 25 days), company pension, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, and more.
