Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in our client schools in Hillingdon. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for supporting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, enabling them to access the curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support to students with special educational needs, including those with ASC and SEMH
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
* Support students in a 1:1 and small group setting
* Assess, evaluate, and report on pupil progress

Requirements:

* At least one year of SEN support experience in a school, childcare or care setting
* Being a talented, dedicated and highly motivated educator
* Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through GSL Education
* Be able to provide two professional school-based references
