Senior Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graduate Engineering Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for interpreting customer needs and providing accurate project-specific solutions.
You will work closely with external sales and internal colleagues to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of projects. Your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring commercial quotations and technical submissions are on time
- Identifying and processing Special or QA product requirements
- Updating and taking ownership of project folders
- Ensuring all key information is obtained at the enquiry stage to offer the best suitable solution to the client
- Ensuring designs produced are compliant with current legislation
- Supporting customers and colleagues in the timely resolution of technical enquiries
- Providing excellent customer service to colleagues and customers alike
- Providing technical support to external sales
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of engineering principles, contractual principles, and methods of working
- Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Positive personality with a desire to continually develop and progress
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and willingness to learn business-specific software systems
- A mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent) or a mathematical or science-based advanced qualification
- Salary up to £28,000
- Car parking on site
- Subsidised canteen area
- One day working from home once established in the role
- 25 days annual leave (some held back for Christmas shutdown)
- L&G pension matched up to 8% (minimum of 5% contribution)
- Life Assurance 3x annual base salary
