Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer II to join our team at Plexus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our Zero Defect Strategy and continually improving the quality of our supply base.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supplier qualification and audits to ensure compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS) and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement part qualification activities to ensure that purchased products meet customer specifications.
- Manage supplier corrective action activities to address non-conforming parts, data trends, and audit findings.
- Apply engineering expertise to challenge suppliers' processes and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement supplier quality strategies and support the growth of supplier quality engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CMQOE) is preferred.
- Broad understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies, and processes.
