Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Functional Disability Assessor. This role involves assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life, drawing on clinical expertise and producing high-quality reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
About the Position
This role requires a strong foundation in nursing, with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years. The ideal candidate will be NMC-registered, have proof of Continuous Professional Development, and possess excellent IT skills and experience using various software.
Responsibilities and Benefits
As a Functional Disability Assessor, your responsibilities will include assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions impact their work life, producing high-quality reports for the DWP, and meeting with clients face-to-face and via telephone/video. You can expect a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, with opportunities for a quality-related bonus of up to 10%, and a range of benefits including 25 days of annual leave + Bank Holidays, full IT equipment for remote working, and up to 6% employer matched pension contribution.
