We are seeking an experienced Council Tax Advisor to join our team at Angus Council. As a key member of our revenue team, you will be responsible for administering council tax billing and redemption processes.
About the RoleYou will enjoy flexible working practices, allowing you to split your time between home and council buildings. Key responsibilities include processing applications for council tax reduction and housing benefit, as well as handling changes in circumstances and appeals related to these benefits.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with members of the public via face-to-face meetings, online platforms, or telephone calls. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all council tax billing processes are accurate and up-to-date.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,215 per annum. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you
