About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled clinical endoscopist to join our endoscopy team at James Paget University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality endoscopy services, working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and investigating patients with gastrointestinal disease, providing a clinical role in the endoscopy service. They will be expected to meet the recommended quality and safety standards, maintaining clinical competence and credibility within the National KPIs for each accredited endoscopy modality. Additionally, the candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge of GI disorders, analysing and interpreting the care needs of patients with gastrointestinal symptoms.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a JAG accredited endoscopist in at least one modality, with significant experience as a clinical endoscopist at band 7. A nursing or allied health professional degree is also required, along with evidence of continued professional development relevant to the responsibilities of the post. Furthermore, a mentorship or other formal teaching qualification is desirable. The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
