Job Title: Chef de Partie

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join their team in Southampton. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring that every dish is executed with precision and flair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production
  • Collaborate closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Strong understanding of Southeast Asian culture and cooking methods, particularly with the Chinese wok
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
