About the Role

Risktec Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team of Integrity Management Consultants and Engineers. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technical services to client companies across various industry sectors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Contribution: Perform detailed engineering and technical safety tasks to generate project deliverables cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Contract Management: Monitor contract progress against milestones, identify variation requests to support contract claims, and produce contract proposals to meet client requirements.
  • Planning and Control: Follow work plans and cost estimates, ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost, and report process and tool inefficiencies.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Support risk assessments and implementation of resulting actions, document and handle technical risks according to mitigation guidelines.
  • Customer Interaction: Clarify technical queries, progress actions for customers, and interact with all customers, other staff, and contractors within the scope of deliverables.
Requirements
  • Essential: Minimum 2:1 Degree level qualified in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline, clean UK driving license, and an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated candidate with a drive to develop and further their career.
  • Desirable: Engineering and operating experience working in the High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry, associate or chartered member of relevant institution, e.g., Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
