Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and making a positive impact on their lives?

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Residential Worker at a leading Children's Home company in the UK.

This role offers a fully funded, industry-accredited training programme, providing you with excellent specialist training in managing behaviors such as Trauma, Sexual Exploitation, and Attachment Disorders. You will also receive a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare.

The successful candidate will work with one of the most reputable care providers in the area, benefiting from ongoing training and support to ensure success in the role.

A starting salary of £23,000 is offered, along with a full-time contract, paid DBS, industry-leading training and management development program, pension, maternity and paternity benefits, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care) - desirable as full training given
  • Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical, and developmental needs
  • Encourage positive life experiences for the children
  • Strong experience building rapport
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others
