Job Summary:

Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Room Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Manage and maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery space that meets regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and deliver engaging activities and events
  • Monitor and report on children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for support

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of child development and educational principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the nursery
  • Enhanced DBS clearance, with the ability to work with children in a regulated environment
