Job Title: B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at BA Cityflyer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Embraer 190 fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out line maintenance on our Embraer 190 fleet, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification, and other tasks as required.
  • Work closely with the Duty Station Maintenance Manager to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with CAA Part 145 procedures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in aircraft maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Hold a CAA Unrestricted Part 66 B1 or B1/B2 Licence with at least one type rating held.
  • Have previous experience working in a line maintenance environment as a B1 or B1/B2 certifying engineer.
  • Be flexible and able to work a 12-hour shift pattern covering days and nights.
  • Have a strong understanding of CAA Part 145 procedures and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
