We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to oversee our financial planning, reporting, and analysis in Rossendale, United Kingdom. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Audit and Compliance: Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • External Relationships: Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Financial Director or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Strong leadership and communication abilities are also required.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Director or in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred, but not essential.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, private healthcare, and professional development opportunities.
