Job Title: Postperson with Driving

Job Type: Permanent contract

Hours: 27.30 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 days across Monday - Sunday

Location: Newcastle West Delivery Office, NE5 2AA

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Postperson with Driving to join our team. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and cars, to transport mail and parcels
  • Work in all weather conditions, including rain and snow

Requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy mailbags and parcels
  • Physical fitness to work in all weather conditions
