Estee Lauder Companies Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as an ELC Advisor in London City Airport.

As an ELC Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and achieving sales targets within the Travel Retail locations. Your duties will include:

  • Developing Product Knowledge: You will have the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of various beauty brands, including their stories, hero products, and features.
  • Providing Best-in-Class Service: You will use your exceptional people skills to engage customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions that meet their expectations.

In addition to developing product knowledge and providing excellent service, you will also be responsible for:

  • Sales Performance: Achieve required retail sales targets set by the Company.
  • Personal Grooming: Present yourself within the standard of personal grooming guidelines specified by ELC.
  • Link Selling: Sell products from multiple brands to increase items per transaction and average basket value.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Keep up-to-date with competitor activities and identify missed opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in the retail industry or guest services is desirable, preferably in beauty or luxury goods.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excitement for and ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Sales Orientation: Must have the ability to maintain level of sales performance as determined by Company goals.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
  • Retail Point-of-Sale Software: Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is desirable.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and career development opportunities.
