Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Marsh House. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for our residents.

About the Role: As a Cook with Dovehaven Care Homes, you will work closely with our catering supplier, Apetito, to provide a wide range of well-presented and nutritious meals that cater to every taste and dietary need. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible care and service.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will possess a caring nature, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. You should have previous experience in a residential home or hotel setting, with the ability to prepare meals for large groups. Additionally, you will hold relevant qualifications, such as Catering (C&G) or NVQ 3, and be willing to work towards achieving higher qualifications.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of £20-22 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. You will also receive 28 days' annual leave (pro rata), free uniform, paid DBS check, and fully paid induction training. As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
