- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to minimize risk.
- Support Internal and External Audits: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform Security Reviews: Conduct regular security reviews of our systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation measures.
- Lead Vendor Risk Programs: Develop and implement vendor risk management programs to ensure that our third-party vendors meet our security standards.
- Maintain Information Security Training Program: Develop and maintain an information security training program to educate employees on security best practices and awareness.
- Handle Non-Conformity and Exceptions: Investigate and resolve security incidents and non-conformities to policy.
- Improve Security Governance Practices: Continuously improve our security governance practices, GRC tooling, and risk treatment approach to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: Strong experience in information security, including risk management and incident response.
- Certifications: Familiarity with maintaining multiple legal and regulatory frameworks, including PCI DSS, SOX, NYDFS, and OSFI.
- Salary: The pay range for this position is £45,000-£65,000, on a full-time schedule.
- Bonuses: Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
- Restricted Stock Units: We grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members.
- Bonus Opportunities: Eligible for monthly bonuses.
