About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage individuals to participate in activities and engage with their local community.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in a care setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
