Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Flintshire. As a key member of our Humanities department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality History lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive History lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teaching Status with a specialism in History
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us
  • Registration with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC)
