Mechanical Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical projects within residential developments on behalf of our client.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, schedule, and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work meets the client's high standards.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication across teams.
- Ensure mechanical works adhere to client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, managing costs in conjunction with the client's Commercial Manager.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to the client, attending meetings as necessary.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met while addressing any unexpected delays or issues.
- Manage the day-to-day site operations, ensuring effective oversight of Site Supervisors and on-site performance.
- Design and prepare quotations for residential heating, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Promote and uphold health and safety standards across all project sites.
- Provide comprehensive reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or certifications.
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification – Essential.
- Experience working on residential mechanical systems, including heating, plumbing, and ventilation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for managing on-site issues and ensuring smooth project completion.
- Strong commercial awareness to manage project costs effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools for efficient task coordination.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager in the residential sector.
- A successful track record of managing and delivering residential mechanical projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours to meet project requirements.
