Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Artemis Chase - Space Talent is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Stevenage, UK. As a defence recruitment specialist, we are proud to partner with leading defence clients to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.

This exciting opportunity involves working on Seeker software, a complex real-time sub-component of a missile, interfacing with advanced sensors and other missile sub-equipment. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, including hardware, software, and firmware experts, and will be responsible for developing hard real-time embedded software using C in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop embedded software solutions and verify through testing and reviews
  • Collaborate to integrate software and analyse system performance
  • Perform requirements capture, software architecture, and design
  • Develop hard real-time embedded software using C
Requirements:
  • Proven experience and proficiency in embedded software development
  • Strong programming skills in C
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate software components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
