Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000 - £70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Psychologist specializing in chronic pain management. As part of our Physical Health Psychology Service, you will work closely with medical consultants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients experiencing chronic pain.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating personalized care plans
- Providing 1:1 physical health psychology sessions, PMP, counseling, or directing patients to appropriate services based on their needs
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participating in regular clinical supervision and training to maintain professional development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status
- Experience working in a physical health setting (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
