Job Description:

The successful candidate will work at our client's site in Poole and report into the Technical Manager. The role will include:

  • Specification Writing & Artwork, including uploading specifications onto retailer portals.
  • Updating specifications and associated document control.
  • Supporting and maintaining approved supplier lists.
  • Management and Control of business master data, including leading BOMs within our new system Nouvem with support from across departments.
  • Assisting the Technical & NPD Team.

This role will suit a candidate that has previously worked as a Spec Tech or Specifications Technologist and ideally someone who would like to move into a Technical Services role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Manage and control business master data, including BOMs and supplier lists.
  • Support the Technical Manager in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Spec Tech or Specifications Technologist.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
