The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience and be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including cost control, performance risk, and value management.
- Provide detailed understanding and monitoring of quantified measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Interpret and apply NEC contract principles and manage compliance with terms.
- Support commercial managers in understanding the construction build process and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain high standards and deliver successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with NEC contracts.
- Ideally, a degree in commercial, contract, or project management (or equivalent substantial professional experience).
- Strong industry background in construction; telecoms or utilities experience is also desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant project management tools.
About the Role:
This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £49,000 per annum, depending on experience, and provides an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects within the construction and telecoms/utility sectors.
