About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of clean energy and power generation solutions as a Lead Electrical Design Engineer. The company specializes in designing and delivering innovative energy efficiency solutions using various technologies.

As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating layouts and outlining designs of HV/LV systems for PV plants at commercial/industrial scale, producing electrical documents, and assisting with technical drawings and LV/HV design.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in electrical design, particularly in industrial plant, energy centers, BESS, solar PV, substations, switchgear, and power distribution.

We are looking for someone with relevant engineering qualifications, such as BSc, NVQ, HND, or HNC, and 5+ years of experience in the UK. Knowledge of digSilent or similar software is also an advantage.

About the Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus a car allowance of £4.6K, bonus, progression opportunities, benefits, and a great pension package.

About the Location:

The role is based in Manchester, with hybrid working arrangements, including 1-2 days per week in the office and flexibility to travel around the UK on occasions.
