Production Supervisor Job Description

As a Production Supervisor at Manucomm Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production team, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that products meet quality standards and are manufactured in accordance with specifications.
  • Oversee the completion of required documentation and paperwork to maintain the required standard.
  • Monitor and report on manufacturing targets, identifying and addressing any issues that prevent targets from being met.
  • Organize staff and resources to meet production targets, maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to company Health and Safety procedures and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Report equipment failures and under-performing personnel to the Shift Controller.
  • Record and reduce waste, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all re-work is dealt with on the day of manufacture.
Requirements:
  • Basic Food Hygiene certification.
  • Ability to use IT reporting systems.
  • Understanding of company Health and Safety policy.

Shifts are generally rotating, with flexibility required. Salary is £13.10 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.25 during the week and 1.5 at weekends.
